How to Keep your Website From Going Down!

I have recently been dealing with a Swiss attorney who somehow let his website go down while he was on some trip to a warmer part of the world and away from the country in January.

Here’s the way you keep this from happening in the US; I presume there must be similar services available in Switzerland.

Uptime.com is one such service; there seem to be many others.

This guy had large deals in place but apparently this is missing in Swiss legal education … also the attorney looks to be in his 50’s and all that was put into the curriculum after he graduated, I guess.

I am a technoid and keep my websites up all by myself, so I don’t personally need this system.

But if you need it and large chunks of your business depend on it, why wouldn’t you add this tiny expense?
