Why Monster.com loses the Job Search Sweepstakes

I have been looking for tech jobs maybe longer than anyone in America, or maybe even the world.

One thing that helps recruiters know whom to contact is by updating one’s profile on job hunting sites. I just finished doing this for Dice and ZipRecruiter, which worked ok with a few glitches; no real problem.

But Monster acts as if it’s a bank or a brokerage or something … “we’re sorry, this email is already taken .. and variations on that theme for 5 or 10 minutes when I gave up to write this article.

That’s it for me.
